Getting to the Fest!

Our Fest is part of the City of San José’s Viva CalleSJ’s six-mile  open streets event!

Viva CalleSJ is car-free event that closes off six miles of San Jose’s most interesting, historic, and eclectic streets to motorized vehicles. These streets will be filled with 100’s of cultural offerings, family friendly activities, an International Fair, and the Silicon Valley Bikes! Festival & Bicycle Show.

Public Transportation and Group Bicycle Rides to and at the Fest:  

10:00am: Bicycle or Take VTA  or Caltrain to  Rod Diridon Caltrain Station: 

Take Caltrain’s #422 from any of its stations (From San Francisco to Santa Clara) and get off at the Diridon Station at 9:55am.

At ten am, San Jose Bike Party volunteers Virginia and Tian will lead a group ride from the Rod Diridon Caltrain to the Viva CalleSJ at St. James Park.

Public Transportation:
From St. James Park, walk to nearby Santa Clara Street and board Valley Transportation Authority’s  (VTA’s) Bus 22. Stop at King & Chaucer. A short walk toward Story Road will bring you to our Festival.  See  VTA’s Trip Planner or consult Google Maps for routes to the Fest.

Parking at Emma Prusch Farm Park:
Inside Emma Prusch Farm Park are a limited number of handicapped parking spaces.

Public parking on this day will not be available.

In the spirit of Viva CalleSJ, please take public transportation, or ride a bike or other non motorized vehicle along the Viva CalleSJ. If driving is a must, please find on-street parking somewhere near the Viva CalleSJ’s route.
